This month we complete our study on the Seven Letters to the Church.
The summary brings together the concept that the 7 letters are to
the individual church of that age and also to the church as a whole
in this age.
Even more exciting is the fact that these letters are not filled
with condemnation but instead with gentle correction and then a promise.
It is the promise that benefits us today, 2Co 1:20 tells us, ”For
all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the
glory of God by us.” Many today are still trying to secure
the promises of God, not realizing that the they are attainable at
all times. When God brings a promise to our recognition, it is up
to us to believe and grab hold of the promise. When we understand
that all He is, is available to us right now, we also realize we
live in this world but we are not a part of it. We are Heavenly creatures
and our citizenship is above. Once we gain this understanding all
revelation is opened.-
